Events

There are many sporting events in Bradwell, put on to raise money for good causes within the village.  We have grouped them all together to create a resource for you to easily find out about the events and see the range of sporting challenges the village puts on. The events are put on by various groups; just click on the logo below to find out more about the event and who organises it.

A fantastic event, thanks so much for all the hard work you all put in. I ran the LT in 2015 and loved it so much that I had to come back for more! Please just keep doing what you’re doing

About us

The original ToB website was set up to publicise the Tour of Bradwell fell races. In this new website we hope to do a lot more, by providing a central source of information for fell runners, orienteers, adventure races and cyclist interested not only in the Tour of Bradwell races, but for all the races and events hosted by different bodies in the village, the common aim of which is to raise funds for causes in and around Bradwell.

Sometimes a little extra funding can make the difference between something happening, or not. That’s one way your entry monies can help others.

The Tour of Bradwell
Hope you all enjoyed the day - weather turned out ok and no-one went walkabout. From an organisers perspective, a win-win. Thanks for all your positive feedback on the reverse route, we may well do it again. In the meantime, if you haven't seen today's race results, they're available at www.racetek-live.co.uk/website/public_results/1117/complete_results/Here's a photo of the 40 shilling gate you all passed through on your way to that first warm-up climb following the wall line. You wouldn't have seen the sign 'cause the gate was open.Once again, thanks for coming. We can't put on a race without you. See you soon... ... See MoreSee Less

The Tour of Bradwell
Today all those on the entry list will receive an electronic version of the race map for Saturday and a description of the route to their inbox. Hard copies of these are provided on the day. Remember to update your emergency contact information, car registration number, etc, on the Fabian4 website as there will be no registration process taking place on the day. You must bring along and carry a charged mobile phone with you throughout the race - it will be our way of contacting you if we are concerned about you.And the weather - Saturday is looking spectacularly average for the time of year with a fair chance of rain showers, strong winds and temperatures barely reaching double figures. Bring full FRA kit and wear it - the wind chill on higher ground will be significant.Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday for a socially distanced event - don't forget your face covering/buff! ...
