A counter in the English Fell Running Championship
New route. All off-road with more climb, and great views for both runners and for spectators from the sports pavilion.
NO DOGS are allowed at the car park, around the sports pavilion or on the course.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Pre-entry £10 + £2 for non-FRA members
- Guaranteed Entry for Contenders will open in late May 2022
- Open Pre-entry via Fabian4 from June 2022
- No recces allowed on the private land until 9.30 am on the day. There is NO right of access to the start and finish fields except on the day.
- We have published a recce route that uses public rights of way around the course. This will allow you to check out the terrain and the route generally before the day.
Race Details
Recce Route: before race day you are not allowed on any of the private land. We have published a recce route below which will give you a really good feel for the course. If runners ignore the recce route and try to cross the private land we will disqualify you from the event and ultimately Bradwell may lose permission to hold this race.

On Race Day:
Below is the route from 2021. We are talking to the landowners and hope to add a little extra climb to this route, in addition a new route halfway down Bradwell Edge which leaves the bridleway. We will update the race route map as and when we have heard back from the landowners.
